Life At TIIKM

Starting his professional career life as a "Marketing Executive" Kushantha has been in TIIKM for almost 2years and 10 months, starting from 1st October 2018 and currently holding the position of Senior Executive - International Marketing
At the age of 19, he takes upon his first conference "The 3rd International Conference On Bioscience and Biotechnology 2018", as an ongoing critical project at TIIKM. But just after a few weeks of training, he managed to take the conference up to standards, without failing.
Likewise, currently overseeing 4 ongoing projects while successfully contributed to over 25+ conferences in his life at TIIKM as an Executive - International Marketing, he is now a key role handling flagship conferences of the organization while achieving targets under pressure and to the given deadlines under minimal supervision.
Teamwork is another essential skill needed to coordinately work with other divisions at TIIKM. The “International Marketing Team” is comprised of 3 members including myself and namely, Dishla Aboobaker ( Team Leader ), and Sachini Uduge (Executive - International Marketing). A true team player is a person who will stay and drag the teammates to the highest place through thick and thin. Having rough times the team backups as much as possible. Combining the different views and ideas of the team, many creative campaigns were born which was successful in achieving the objectives, here at TIIKM.

Lead Generation
Along with awareness building, Lead generation is a major task of a Marketeer. Throughout the 2 plus years of work at TIIKM, Kushantha has been successful in achieving his targets performing at his best.
Market Research & Strategic Planning
It is an essential task for any marketeer to know about the internal and external environment of the organization. Before starting a project as a marketeer, it is our duty to analyze and to know our surroundings. Especially our target markets and about our competitors.
With the information via the analysis, future plans are made aligning the main objectives.


Marketing & Campaigns
The main task of a marketeer is to generate leads via awareness building of the product, within the target market. At TIIKM in order to generate leads and to create awareness many creative methods that differ as per the market and the external factors are made through the data-driven from the analysis.
Email marketing, Network marketing, Cross marketing, Social media marketing, Meetings ( With Deans, Directors, Professors &, etc.), and Marketing via activities are some major marketing methods carried out compared to other sub-methods
Branding
Even though working as an International Marketing Executive at TIIKM, the opportunity to engage in some branding activities were created.
Video scriptwriting, Short Video editing, Special social engaging activity planning, and implementation were some branding activities carried out.

Digital marketing which includes social media marketing is one of the powerful marketing methods in the present world.
Here at TIIKM, as International Marketing Executives we handle our own social media pages with the team and support the digital marketing team by supplying insights for the digital marketing campaigns

Combining resources, and coordinating divisional activities to give out the maximum output. Ensuring all activities performed are according to the plan, Leading the team in the perspective of marketing are some other major tasks carried out.
